House of Hickory started the same way a lot of good things do — in my own home. Nights in the garage, weekends at craft shows — building small pieces, wall art, and home decor. Over time, that grew into something more: a business focused on quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and doing things the right way.

Today, House of Hickory specializes in custom built-ins, home renovations, and functional spaces built to last. From laundry rooms to basements and full-room transformations, the goal is always the same — create something that looks great, works better, and feels like it truly belongs in your home.

Every project is hands-on. You're not handed off to a crew you've never met. That means clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to getting things right — not just getting them done.

Most of the homes I work in are lived-in, real family homes — not perfect showrooms. That's where experience matters most. Problem-solving, adapting, and building something that fits both the space and the people using it.
